Murray & Roberts operates in Southern Africa, Middle East, Southeast Asia, Australasia and North and South America. EC-MSP has assisted Murray & Roberts with relocating their London office.
The Solution
From an IT aspect, EC-MSP managed the relocation and liaised with the appropriate parties involved, (such as the removal company and the landlord) to ensure the move was a smooth one. Some of the work that was carried out included:
- Documented IT hardware and generated an asset list.
- Inspect resources in the new office, ensuring telephone and internet lines were ordered in time.
- New office checked to ensure that there were enough data and power ports, and the location of the Comms cabinet was determined.
- Engineering resources were managed carefully and access to the building was arranged for the engineers.
The Outcome
The planning stage was crucial to ensure that potential issues were negated. EC-MSP project -managed the move from an IT perspective to ensure that on move day, everything went smoothly.
